Watch: Funding for Active Citizenship & Equality Initiatives through the CERV Programme

February 10, 2025

The EU’s Citizenship, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) Programme aims to sustain and further develop open, rights-based, democratic, equal and inclusive societies based on the rule of law. It supports projects in areas such as Union Values, Rule of Law, Equality (including Gender Equality), Citizens' engagement and participation, and the prevention of violence.

At our January webinar, we explored CERV's main objectives, eligibility requirements, and open and upcoming funding calls for the 2025 work programme. We were joined by Philippe Ternes who acts as the CERV National Contact Point in Luxembourg. Although there is no Irish National Contact Point for CERV, Irish applicants are welcome to use the resources and supports available from the CERV Citizens Forum.

Attendees were also treated to a fantastic input from Sinéad Roche of Oxfam Ireland who shared Oxfam's experiences being involved in CERV projects and provided handy tips for newcomers to CERV funding.
