Substantial experience
We have been partners in a good number of Erasmus+ projects over the last 10 years, as well as being a key partner in a Creative Europe-funded Network from 2017-2021. Erasmus+ projects:
EU Funding Goals
Peer learning with other national policy and advocacy-focused organisations across Europe. Conducting research to benchmark and compare the landscape in different countries. Develop pilot projects and demonstrate best practice in local, national and international participatory work. Explore unexpected partnerships with those working in different fields to find common ground.
Strengths
Our specific area of expertise is creative participation in communities. Our focus is on citizen-led, self-governed cultural expression and the personal, social, health, economic, and environmental benefits this brings. We are a very well run organisation, trusted by many funders over several decades and we have a great deal of experience now in managing the often daunting bureaucracy of European funded projects. We bring a long history of work across Ireland, the UK and Europe that is rooted in local communities. We have a great network of contacts across the arts & culture sector and charity sector, as well as political and policy circles.
