EU Project Experience
No experience
This organisation is new to EU funding and will be supported by the Access Europe team.
While Croí has not directly accessed EU funding in the past, at the time of writing (Aug 2023), we have joined a number of project applicaiton consortia for projects in the health/innovation space, and a number of our team members have significant EU project experience from previous roles.
EU Funding Goals
We have a broad and varied skill set within our multidisciplinary team that will bring substantial value to EU projects.
In years 1-2, we plan to develop our partnerships, network and build out our experience in participating in a number (2-4) of EU Projects. We have particular interest in the areas of community health, and digital healtht.
In years 3-5, we plan to further develop this capacity with a view to leading projects beyond year 5.
Strengths
Croí's multidisciplinary team has experience across many elements of healthcare including:
- psychology,
- nursing,
- physiotherapy,
- dietetics,
- occupational therapy,
- exercise.
We also have strong capacity in legal/financial, governance, and project management.
Community is at the core of everything we do and we have a very strong network across the west and northwest of Ireland as well as excellent relationships with state/public organisations.
Our sister organisation (the National Institute for Prevention & Cardiovascular Health) originally developed from within Croí, and we are also affiliated to the Global Heart Hub, which connects us to an extensive network across Europe and worldwide.
