EU Project Experience
Some experience
Collaborated with AkiDwA back in 2016 which is part of European Network of migrant Women on collecting data on challenges of entreprenueriship in migrant businesses that are migrant women led. This project was funded by Dublin City Council under the DELI project
EU Funding Goals
In the first 2 years, we would be keen on networking, participation and learning in partnerships and collaborations with Organisations working with migrant entrepreneurs. An ideal project would be an exchange program to learn from each other. We would hope to have enough understanding and an in depth knowledge of how issues and challenges of various groups of people that are marginalised are addressed and on developing sustainable solutions that bring about inclusion, equality, diversity and growth in Irish mainstream businesses. We would also hope to lead in funding application as the leading Organisation.
In 10 years, we hope to have expertise on issues of Immigrant Entrepreneurs and their businesses, leading projects and identifying partners and collaborators and at a local level in Ireland to have grown our support to cover the Republic of Ireland.
Strengths
We have a database of Immigrant Entrepreneurs in various stages in Ireland.
We have a team of 4 people, most of whom have run/ are running businesses and know first hand the issues the Immigrant face.
Our team is very dedicated and hard working and looking to collaborate and partner and put in the work.
Having collected data twice before 2016 and 2024, during a needs analysis, we understand the issues on the ground.
