EU Project Experience
No experience
Although the HAI has very little experience with EU Funding Programmes, the organisation is a very active in a number of European Projects with Humanist organisations throughout Europe.
As a member of the European Humanist Services Network,we are an active member of a devoted partnership of 19 European member organisations of Humanists International who wish to make humanist services available for everyone who wants them.
The Network is currently engaged in work programmes on Humanist ceremonies, Humanist existential care and Humanist youth education.
EU Funding Goals
Over the next two to five years, the HAI would like to get involved in a variety of new projects mainly as a project partner. However, we are also open to leading them.
We are particularly interested in the following areas:
- Building Networks: Establishing connections with European organisations focused on creating a tolerant and connected society, informed by humanist values.
- Learning: Participating in workshops and training programs to understand EU funding processes, grant writing, and project management.
- Collaborative Projects: Engaging as a partner in new and existing EU-funded projects to gain practical experience and insights into successful initiatives.
Strengths
1. Expertise: The HAI has a strong team of staff and volunteers, with wide ranging and extensive backgrounds and skill sets. We can effectively implement and evaluate projects, ensuring they meet their objectives and provide measurable outcomes.
2. Organisational Capacity: The HAI has a well-structured framework for project management, including experienced staff and volunteers.
3. Network of Volunteers and Partners: Our organisation has built a strong network of volunteers, experts, and partner organisations. This informal network enhances our capacity to deliver comprehensive services and collaborate on innovative projects.
4. Extensive experience in national awareness and educational campaigns: The HAI has vast advocacy experience on a number of campaigns including Secular Education; By leveraging these strengths, we can contribute valuable insights, resources, and collaborative potential to EU-funded projects, enhancing their impact and effectiveness. We can share best practices and lessons learned from our work with potential partners.
