EU Funding Goals

We would like to develop our understanding of EU wide policy concerns and to collaborate with like-minded organisations in other countries. This will help us to develop a more rounded and nuanced understanding of policy and to learn from policy experiences in other countries. We hope to use these collaborations to develop our analytical and technical capacities.

Our 2 years goal is to join one or more projects as a national partner working on economic policy issues, to gradually build up our network, and to gain experience of EU projects.

By year 5 we hope to be part of multiple ongoing projects focused on economic and labour market policy issues and to have coordinated at least one project in these areas. By year 10 we hope to be coordinating 2 multi-country projects per year.

Strengths

Our core expertise is socio-economic analysis.

We are comprised of economists and sociologists (PhD and Masters) with significant academic and policy experience.

Our research focus has centered on macroeconomics, fiscal policy, labour market policy, collective bargaining, productivity, job quality, inequality and poverty, well-being, and regional development.
