We want every community to develop their own sense of security through positive mental wellbeing.
SOSAD offer support and services for people who are struggling with suicidal ideation, self harming, depression, bereavement, stress and anxiety, or if you simply need to talk. If you want to talk, we are here to listen. You can message us, call us, or call into our office.
We have six offices based in Cavan, Louth, Meath and Monaghan from which we provide our services. We believe in suicide prevention through early intervention, and offer a number of free, professional services to those in need.
We provide:
- Counselling
- Support Line
- Messaging Service
- Drop in Centres
- Crisis Support.
We have been running for 17 years, we are registered with the Companies Registration Office as a company limited by guarantee without share capital (company registration number 440317) as an organisation with charitable tax exemption with the Revenue Commissioners (CHY 17866)with the Charities Regulatory Authority of Ireland (Registered Charity Number 20067328)
