EU Project Experience
Some experience.
People and Planet was a DEAR funded project that focussed on climate and sustainable actions for young people. We were a partner in an 8-country, 4 year project.
ACT was an Erasmus+ funded project that developed resources for young people to design their own climate and sustainability actions as well as one for teachers/facilitators using gamification and participatory methods.
DISMISS Media Manipulation is an Erasmus+ funded programme that works with young people to identify mis- and disinformation, develop teaching resources and deliver high-profile event on media literacy.
EU Funding Goals
In 2 years, we would like to feel confident that we understand the various EU funding streams and that we are an attractive and productive partner for our European colleagues.
In 5-years we would like to be in a position to be lead partner on a large multi-country project.
In 10-years, we would like to be involved in multiple EU project with the staff necessary to work at this level.
Strengths
We have a very active non-formal sector youth group that works within our organisation who are always looking for fun and interesting activities to implement.
We have a strong social media presence.
We work within the framework of the SDGs with a focus on responsible consumption, sustainable living, and climate action and climate justice.
