EU Project Experience
Some experience
At YSI we have been involved in some small Erasmus+ funded projects over the last 2-3 years.
More recently we have been successful in securing over 2.7M Euros through the Special EU Programmes Body to deliver a cross-border social innovation programme (Northern Ireland and Ireland) with four partners. This programme will focus on young people from more marginalised communities and those outside of the mainstream education system.
EU Funding Goals
We are keen to expand our work with EU partners focusing on social innovation, social enterprise and wider research in these areas.
Our priority over the next 18-24 months is to build our networks and establish conversations with likeminded organisations across Europe. From this we hope to establish partners to collaborate on programmes and secure funding through any opportunities that arise.
Strengths
We have over three decades of knowledge supporting young people co-create and co-design new innovations solving social and environmental issues.
We also have high levels of knowledge in social innovation, social enterprise and a globally recognised social innovation knowledge platform.
